Went here some for family friendly Christmas arts and crafts with a free Santa's grotto for kids. Children had a wonderful experience and it was all free of charge thanks to the friends of Clapham Common.

i was looking for a cozy nice place to read a book and enjoy my coffee and found this perfect café accidentally. different from all the overpriced and overcrowded brunch places around clapham common, omnibus theatre cafe is so quiet and has really great mushroom quiche if you want to grab food too.

Charming, bright and airy cafe at the front of the Omnibus Theatre. Rarely busy, hence I suspect it is not well known and seemingly doesn’t attract much word-of-mouth praise, which is a shame as it’s a lovely place. Along with the usual coffees, beer and wine they have a selection of vegetarian and vegan light bites. The staff are very vocal about being meat-free, although this is not necessarily obvious when you first approach the cafe so I personally missed a meat option. The decor is super relaxed and charming, an eclectic mix of old wooden tables, sofas and chairs. Plus a small outdoor terrace which is perfect if the sun is out. If you found my review or photos helpful please leave a quick thumbs up Thank you!
